Photos I Took on my Walks

First of all, I want to thank you all so much for your positive responses to my last posts where I shared some of my photos.  Your kindness has encouraged me to continue sharing them as time goes on.

The photos I am sharing this time are ones that I took on my walks.  I love to go out and take walks and often bring my camera with me.  Whenever I see something I like that I think would make a nice photo, I snap away.

This first photo is one I took in the Autumn.  I take walks any time of the year including the winter...just providing it isn't too hot and humid or extremely freezing.  I love the cold, just not frigid temperatures and dangerous icy conditions.

This next photo was a fun one for me, as I don't get to see donkeys often living in the city.  LOL!  This was at a nature park that had an organic farm.  There were two donkeys...it seems that they did their best to help me, sensing my lack of experience in taking photos.  They were very sweet and cooperative.  Even though they were in a really large enclosure, they willingly came up to see me and stayed side by side long enough for me to capture them with my lens.

This next shot is pretty self explanatory.

This photo of the geese was very enjoyable for me, as they were very gracious...some were so comfortable in my presence that they fell asleep.  Either that or they were bored.  LOL!  :)

The last photo I am sharing for this post is one I took at the Old Port of Montreal...this boat was really neat. I have never been on one like it, but there were waiters setting tables on this craft when I was there.  Looks like a great place to have a nice dinner while afloat.

Thank you all so much for stopping by, and please feel free to share your thoughts by clicking on the "comments" link at the end of my post.

  3. Wonderful, Linda. The donkeys are cute. Our youngest daughter is into raising mini-donkeys which I didn't even know existed until recently! They are nice animals.

Your fall shot is glorious. And I love ducks and boats and water. Good job all the way around. Hope you're off to a good weekend!

  7. I'm glad you take your camera with you when you walk. These are all wonderful pictures. You did a great job of capturing the color of autumn and the flowers, and the donkeys are simply precious. Keep walking, snapping away and sharing with us.

  8. Wow, I am impressed! You live in a beautiful place, and now we can all share the beauty! You are a naturally talented photographer and I am so glad that you have started snapping things around you. My favorites here are the sunflowers, the donkeys, the those boats in the port. That picture really shows the detail so well. And your shot of the donkeys, it almost looks like there is one looking in a mirror. I love photography, it calms me down and excites me both at once. I don't snap perfect pictures, but they don't have to be perfect to be pretty or interesting.

    1. Hi Ginny,

You are so right...I don't snap perfect pictures either, I do it for the enjoyment and relaxation...like yourself. If I waited until I snapped perfect pictures to share them here, it would be a very long time. LOL! :)

    1. Hi Filip,

I am so glad you got to see the Oratory. Yes...people do climb the stairs on their knees...the middle set of stairs are in wood and reserved for people who mount on their knees.
