Vintage Coupons

I am not sure if any of you collect or use coupons today, or if you did so in the past, but I thought it would be neat to share some photos of vintage coupons.

Of course back then the coupons worth less;  however, the products were not as expensive back then as they are today.  I really don't remember the free Coca Cola, though.

So did you and/or do you use coupons for your purchases?  Do you find it worth it for you...or just a waste of time?  Please feel free to share your thoughts by clicking on the "comments" link at the end of my post.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

  1. Il est toujours amusant de retrouver d'anciens coupons comme ceux-ci (je ne les connais pas, mais l'idée est bonne de nous les montrer)...
    Gros bisous

  3. If you take out the last two coupons, the others are really beautiful and would make a dandy collage to hang somewhere, so pretty, especially the Froot Loops one. I don't remember any of these, I'm sure I was a little kid at the time. But I do use coupons now. I tear them out, but then so often run out to the store and forget them. But one thing I DO remember, it was not that long ago that coupons had dates on them for a really long time. Nowadays you have to use them really fast or they will expire.

  4. I don't remember coupons much way back then. I do remember when we had been married for a couple of years, spending $25 for a week's groceries and being quite concerned if we could pay the bills! Our house payment in 1960 was $109. But that was about 25% of my pay!

Thank you, Linda, for taking the time to check on our blogs and for your considerate and kind comments!
