Photos I Took on my Walk Today

Thank you all so much for your kind comments on the photos I took and shared yesterday!  The flowers are not mine, they belong to the building owners where I live...who are also very good friends of mine.  They knew I was going to take the photos and had given me permission to do so.  They do read my blog and saw the post with the photos of their flowers and were very pleased.  Great job on your garden, K and A!  :)  Thank you for allowing me to take photos of your beautiful flowers!

I have a small Kodak digital camera that I purchased over two years ago.  It's the only camera I could (and still) afford, but I love it.  I was not very comfortable taking photos in the beginning, but once I got the hang of it and felt more comfortable, I started taking photos a lot.

For the last few months I hadn't really been taking my camera with me, but I have started to again and am enjoying the walks and being in nature.  I am not even sure why I had stopped taking my camera with me, but I plan to do so much more so I hope you all enjoy the photos I take and will share here from my walks.  :)  Whenever I see fountains or am by the water, I have to take photos!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really enjoy and appreciate reading your thoughts.  Please click on the "comments" link at the end of my post to share.

  1. Great to see you coming with your photographs and they are quite wonderful. Taking a walk could reveal a lot about our neighborhood and I enjoy the garden and fountain photos here. Bring more such wonders around you... You are good at photography.

    All the best :)

  2. Beautiful photos. The fountain is beautiful. Looks like it is a beautiful place for a walk.

  3. Hola Linda, bonitas imágenes llenas de naturaleza.
    gracias por compartir.
    que tengas una buena semana.

  4. Your photo's are much better than those you took from the internet, Linda ! ...And real !

  5. I felt I was taking the walk too...I love fountains!

  6. I loved looking through these photos Linda!! Great post :) as always!!

  7. Hi Linda, What a lovely walk you had and you took some lovely, colourful photos. The waterfall is beautiful! I also enjoyed seeing all the pretty flowers on yesterday's post, so cheerful and your friends had obviously been to a lot of trouble.

As usual I enjoyed catching up with your older posts too. Your 'Smiles' post did indeed make me smile :-) I particularly liked the Walrus with the fish birthday cake and the child with a bird on its head while birdwatching.

In one of your other posts I was interested to see the Spool Knitting set. We used to call it French knitting. I had one made out of an old cotton reel and later was given one which resembled a doll, a bit like those Russian dolls. I hunted the internet for the one you mentioned and wondered if this one might be it See here

    1. Oh my stars...yes, that is the one! Thank you! (for showing me that link and for all your wonderful comments!) :)

  8. Lovely snaps...keep clicking!

  9. What a lovely place to take a walk. Lucky you!

  10. Brilliant images that you have taken.

  11. A very famous photographer says over and over again "It's not the camera!" And he shows what he means by taking the cheapest camera he can find and make incredibly beautiful photos with them. You exemplify the same thing here...beautiful photos with an inexpensive camera. Good job and I love the colors!

  12. Super pictues, good combinations.

  13. I'm glad you are taking your camera with you on your walks. You've gotten some wonderful pictures here, but I especially like your photo of the fountain.

  14. Lovely pictures of your lovely-looking neighbourhood. Definitely worth taking your camera with you whenever possible!

  15. What a beautiful place and such pretty flowers. I miss not being able to walk any more. I do enjoy other's photos though! Thanks Linda!
