This greenhouse is a beautiful place that has benches in it where people can sit down and enjoy it...there are also tables with chairs where you can bring a lunch and just enjoy the serenity! I also took a walk through the park outside of the greenhouse and got more photos there as well. All the photos in this post...I took inside the greenhouse. This greenhouse also has two ponds in it. It looks and sounds so peaceful there! As well, there are cameras throughout the greenhouse and they show signs to let people know. This is in order to keep the greenhouse safe and enjoyable for everyone.
I hope as well that if any of you know the names of any of the flowers and plants, please feel free to mention it. I know that I saw and enjoyed many various cactus plants as well as others and lots of flowers...I just don't know the types of flora, though. :)

ReplyDeleteYou did a great job. And several of these flowers are grown year-round here in Ocala. We had them in our yard at our old house on the east side of town. The big elephant ears would spread out all over the place but die off during the winter ... they always came back, though. That's quite a greenhouse. You may want to go back there in the winter when it's cold outside... :-)

ReplyDeleteYour greenhouse reminds me of the Conservatory over at Como Park here in St Paul. They have lots of tropical plants but nobody is allowed to eat in there. You have to stay on the paths.
Greenhouses and botanical gardens are so much fun. The flowers in #1 photo look like Azalea, #2 look like Lantana, #3 Petunias and Geranium, #4 Elephant Ear, #5 Peace Lily and #7 Coleus. At least those are my guesses. :) Thanks for sharing Linda!

Wonderful pictures! I just posted a bunch of flower pictures on my blog, too. Something about a flower that defies you walk by without taking at least one snapshot. I love the pictures with the water in them, especially.
