Henri 2, Paw de Deux

Hi everyone, I decided to leave the video I am posting as the title of my post for today.  LOL!  It is a short, two minute cat video with pleasant music.  :)  Kind of cute.

I went to a mall today and took some photos, which I hope you will enjoy.

These last two photos...they are of the (what I call) accordion model of one of the Montreal buses.  These two photos...I took them a couple of years ago.  Since I mentioned about these buses in my last post I thought I would included them here.  I got a photo of the exterior of the bus as well as the interior.  Note that the middle of the bus resembles an accordion, hence the name I give it.  I am not the only one who calls them by this name, either.  There are three doors in this model, one at the front, one in the middle and one at the back.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. Is there only one set of axles on the "trailer" portion of the bus?

    1. Hmmm....I think yes. I can say that this model offers a smoother ride for those in the rear of the bus. I find it smoother than the regular model, not as bumpy. It seems that the middle "accordion" part stabilizes and absorbs the bumps better. That is my view, anyway, from what I have felt when riding on it.

  2. Ha ha - great (and funny) video !!

Ah, it's difficult to get in the Christmas mood down here in the subtropics. Nice to see the Christmas decorations in the mall.

  3. LOVED the cat video!
I'm not ready for Christmas yet and have tried to stay away from the mall. I need to get our Thanksgiving over next week first.
I was wondering the idea behind the bus. A smoother ride would be ideal.

Thanks for stopping by my photoblog and leaving your wonderful comment. :)

    1. Hi Carletta, thanks for your comment. In Canada we have our Thanksgiving in early October, so the retailers start their Christmas displays usually by early November.

  5. Malls have lots of interesting stuff to photograph. A rent-a-cop told me to stop taking pics in ours, though. Terrorists, you know! :-)

    Love your public transportation.

    1. I don't even drive at all so I definitely agree with you, Ms. Sparrow! These buses are not on all the lines, only the busiest ones.

  11. First of all Linda, I absolutely loved, loved, loved the video. Thanks so much for sharing it. I also enjoyed your photos of your trip to the mall and thank you for those too.

I am trying to get round to as many blogging friends as I can to let you all know that I have had to go onto comment moderation. The reason being that I have all of a sudden started getting an horrendous amount of spam that was overflowing and taking over. At least with moderating the comments I can control it somewhat. This is a first for me but I hope that things will settle down and I can go back to normal soon. Have a great weekend :)

    1. Hi Denise, I have had comment moderation since beginning my blog in February of this year and I will keep it this way. One is to discourage spam but the other reason is because I wish to keep my blog family friendly. :)

    1. They start early here. Our Thanksgiving is in October. As well, Christmas is the biggest season for retailers.
