Hi everyone! The video I am sharing for this post is an old song called "The Mocking Bird Went Cuckoo & The Donkey Went Hee Haw". :) Silly name, but I thought it was cute and hope you all enjoy it.
I entitled this post "Things I Like" because I thought it would be nice to give you all a chance to get to know me better. Some of the things you will already know, especially if you are a regular reader here, but some you may not know.
1. I love music "before my time", especially music from the early 1900's to 1940's.
2. My favourite seasons: Winter, Spring and Autumn. Don't get me wrong, I like the summer, just not the humidity we get here in Montreal.
3. I love classic, wholesome television shows such as The Andy Griffith Show, The Waltons, Highway to Heaven, Touched by an Angel, Bewitched, etc.
4. I love to reminisce about days gone by...and enjoy hearing others talk about how things were when they were younger, but mostly the positive things.
5. My favourite colours: forest green, turquoise and coral.
6. I love the ocean, the rain and taking long walks in nature.
7. I love all animals, but my favourites are cats and birds.

LOVE your photo and the combination of flowers and grass, just the right amount of each. Me too with the cats and birds! We are birdwatchers and have three cats.

ReplyDeleteI like most everything you like but I'd put summer right up at the top 'cause even though it's hot here the snowbirds go back north and we can get a tee time on a golf course and a seat at a restaurant again! :-)

I'm also fond of music from the 40's, especially WWII songs. My favorite color is emerald green and I collect green glass objects, mostly vases of that color. I love the flower picture you posted today!
