Hi everyone! The video I am sharing with you all in this post is called, "When You're Smiling" (1930). I hope you all enjoy this and that this video and the photo I am sharing today will make you all smile!
I took this photo in the summer of 2011. You just need to click on the photo to enlarge it.
The lighting on your marigolds photo is perfect. I got a bang out of the dancing girls in the video. By today's standards, they were quite un-athletic and un-professional!
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Sparrow, thank you so much for your comment.
DeleteThose flowers are so colorful and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Fireblossom, thanks so much!
DeleteThese flowers are beautiful and different. They look like mums, are they dyed?
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, I am not certain of this at all, to be honest. I just saw them as I was taking a walk in a park one day and decided to get a photo of them. Thanks a lot for your comment.
DeleteI enjoy growing marigolds and I kind of like the smell even though it is green and strong smelling. Great color.
ReplyDeleteHi Larry, thanks for your comment!
DeleteWell done Linda, the marigold is a brilliant flower.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Bob. :)
DeleteDear Linda,
ReplyDeleteYour comment, so nice of you. I never thought that you'd understand. That's what friends are for. Thank you so much 'dear friend' !
Lie(f)s.
Indeed, dear Lies....you are a dear friend. Hugs. :)
DeleteHello Lies, I don't always understand everything you say, but I am sensitive and I understand if someone is sad, sick or lonely. Take care of yourself. I tried to make this comment on your blog but was unable to. :(
DeleteDone, Linda.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Adam.
DeleteAre these African marigolds?
ReplyDeleteNot sure if they are African marigolds. I didn't even know that they were marigolds until one of my fellow bloggers mentioned the name of the flower here in the comments. LOL! Some flowers I can easily identify, others not so much.
DeleteLove the flowers!!! What are they?
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for your comment. Someone said that they are marigolds. :)
DeleteSmiling in dancing is important, the girls do this. When I watched the video I smiled to. It was playful.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Thank you for your comment, Filip, I am so glad that the video made you smile. :)
DeleteThe video reminds me of how much has changed over the years. Sometimes I think I'd like to go back to the simpler days, but it wasn't all roses then, either.
ReplyDeleteMore gorgeous flowers. Nice photo!
