Hello everyone! The video I am sharing for this post is "In the Summer Sun of Greece" by A La Carte! It is one of my favourite songs, upbeat and fun, and a song that you can actually understand the lyrics. :) I also love the outfits the girls are wearing, very colourful and tasteful. A few of my friends who had never heard this song before...when I let them hear it, they said that the voices reminded them of Abba. The video isn't the best quality, but the images and music are very pleasant. Enjoy!
Well....I have noticed that many of you who share your photos have copyright protection on them in the way of your name, and I figured that I would do the same with my photos. Even though I am not a professional photographer and this is quite obvious, I do enjoy taking photos. They are my photos, I took them with my Polaroid digital (or Kodak digital, which was my very first camera). I use the Polaroid now. Until I figure out how to do this with smaller text, please bear with me on how I display my name on my photos. I am using online image editors for this. Thank you so much.
The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on a walk a couple of years ago. I thought it kind of goes with the song I am sharing today. You just need to click on the image to see a larger view. It isn't one of my best photos, but I find the colours kind of soothing...hope you do as well.
I think you are wise to watermark your online photos with your name. We started doing that about a year ago.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to figure out what these flowers are...some look like cone flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, we must hold onto memories of summer sun and flowers!
ReplyDeleteI used to try the watermark method, but it's get's tiring for every single photo
ReplyDeleteHello Linda from Spain, a place of sun and guitars. Your photos are really beautiful and some of them could be used to do watercolors.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog.
A fun song and a beautiful photo. You do these posts very well.
ReplyDeleteRe the copyright thing: You may want to use a smaller script. If you have a windows computer, you can get the copyright symbol © by holding down the Alt key, and typing 0169.
People steal photos all the time, but it may stop them if you show they are copyrighted. I found a large company was using one of my photos as part of their logo. I wrote to them but never received a response. It would cost too much to sue them so I let it go. :(
Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteA fun song and lovely pic!!

Hi Linda, I use Picasa to watermark my photos. You may want to try that....
ReplyDeleteCute video---song!!!!
Beautiful photo too.
Hope you have a good weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
A nice reminder that spring is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda...thanks for you lovely comments on my blog...
ReplyDeleteYour picture reminds me that I will be in my gardens again...very soon...
They say to put the watermark in the middle of your picture, as anyone that steals them can just crop out your name if it is near the edges....i don't do watermarks...Don't you have to do every single photo...each time??? Or does it do all your photos???let me know what you think about that...
Enjoy your day...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I think that it is good thing to sign up your over/under on photograph. I love your flowers too.
ReplyDeleteVery springlike! I hope the blizzards are behind you now...
ReplyDeleteA few minutes later you can sing it with them, Linda, nice.
ReplyDeleteI put my name in a corner..., I select it and drag (if the translation is o.k.). That's easy.
Lie(f)s.
