HSP

Hi everyone!  The title of my post is HSP = highly sensitive person!  I am a HSP and I am sure some of you are as well.  HSP is not a personality disorder, but rather a personality trait.  If you want to see if you are a HSP, here is a test that you can do online.  Please feel free to share your test results, if you would like to.
HSP Test

The song I have chosen for this post is "Chiquita Banana" (1940's).

The photo I am sharing today is one I took in June 2010 at the Montreal Botanical Gardens.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. I already know I am an HSP, of course, but I took the test for fun. I checked every box but one! (the caffeine one)

    1. Myself as well, Shay! I checked every box except one (the hunger one)...only because I haven't really noticed, to be honest, but I checked every single box except that one.

  2. I only scored a seven. I hope that doesn't mean that I'm a zombie!

    1. LOL Gorges! Thanks for taking the test. No, it doesn't mean you are a zombie, you just aren't as sensitive as some people, is all. :)

  4. I knew I was a HSP. I took the test, too, to see what the questions were, and yep, I checked most of the boxes!

  6. Hmmm. I don't think I'm HSP. Just 'cause I tend to bop people in the nose if they look at me the wrong way... Nah, I'm just kidding. I can by HSP, I guess. Probably everyone can be. But I remember something someone told me long ago - we need to stop being needy. I think he meant we've got to take care of ourselves and not always depend on others or worry about what others think. Hard to do, sometimes.

Love this photo, Linda. One of your best. The colors are outstanding, it's very interesting, and sharp as a tack! Great job.

Hope you have a week ahead filled with lots of fun and laughter! And remember, if someone doesn't treat you as well as they should, that's their problem, not yours!

Love your new "copyright" also! I'd suggest you include the year as copyrights only last 70 years and then have to be renewed. :)

  8. Hi, Linda! The video seems familiar to me, & not just because of the old banana commercials. I seem to recall dancing with my friend in front of the TV at the age of 3 or 4 to this clip.
The Botanical Garden picture is beautiful!
I have some stress issues, but have tried to work my way through them or around them. A lot of those questions could be answered with "It used to bother me, but I can deal with it now." I know it has to be hilarious to watch me while I watch an intense action scene in a movie, though. I twist myself into knots & dodge the punches, & lean into the curves during chase scenes on motorcycles! Feels like I'm where all the action is!
    Take care,
    Kim

  12. I am not an HSP according to the test.
I went online and looked at the info for the botanical garden. It sounds like a very beautiful place to visit and is quite unique in many aspects.
