I had a horse for about 12 years. I eventually got rid of the horse to make it easier to keep my first wife. Turns out I got it backwards. I still love horses!
ReplyDeleteit's been years since the last time i was near a horse! gosh, this reminds me of what majestic and noble creatures they are. thanks for the reminder! :D
ReplyDeleteHorses are such beautiful, sensitive animals. I'm glad you got the chance to enjoy this one in person :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to say I've never rode one
ReplyDeleteIf you love horses, you should come visit Ocala sometime. This is horse country with hundreds of large and small horse farms - many of which are right in the city, set among rolling hills with huge oak trees. We raise racing horses here, as well as jumping horses.
ReplyDeleteA friend of ours just bought a "mini" farm and he plans to have two horses just for fun and riding. Lots and lots of mini-farms.
Just down the road from where we live are a half-dozen horse farms.
They are wonderful animals.
That's amazing! I love animals.
ReplyDeleteMmmm. In my next life I'm going to take up horses too....:)
ReplyDeleteThere is some real evidence of God in animals which I truly appreciate!
ReplyDeleteWe too love horses. They somehow soothe the soul. I used to ride, but never owned a horse. My daughter had 2. Now that she's married and has a daughter, they own 3. One is a rescue horse... and he's a gorgeous huge Friesian who was abused when young. He will probably never be able to be ridden, but he does trust them and follows the 2 of them around like a puppy.
ReplyDeleteA lovely story you found for us.
ReplyDeleteYou must have the Horse Mojo!!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice video. I have never been around horses but I thin they are beautiful!
