Sheep and Elephant Friends

Hi everyone!  I found a very lovely video of the friendship between a sheep and an elephant...it is a short, two-minute video which I hope you will enjoy!

The photo I am sharing today is one I took on Friday, April 19th, just a few days ago.  I was visiting a farm and took some photos....this time of a sheep.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Not sure about any of you, but I have been doing a genealogy search and have found quite a bit on the internet.  It is enjoyable and fascinating, and so nice to learn about my family.

  2. oh wow, i would never have pictured an elephant and a sheep together! and maybe it sets an example for us as human beings too, that we should not let the differences between us stop us from being friends :D

  7. You had a good time at this farm, didn't you? I've read a bit about elephants and they are very intelligent and very sensitive creatures.

Our daughter in south Florida has some sheep - well, one anyway. She has goats, too, and the goats don't much like the sheep! :)

Speaking of genealogy - you should check out Family Tree DNA. I have been involved in using some DNA to learn more about my ancestors and was very surprised to find out that my people come from all over the world. And I am related to literally thousands of people! It's fascinating. There's a cost to it, though.

  20. I haven't been around sheep for over fifty years...but now we have our own they give us constant pleasure - the two baby lambs are skipping about, shaking their tails - sheer joy.
