Any Ice Today?

Hello everyone!  The video I have chosen for this post is a fun song from 1926!  It is "Any Ice Today, Lady?" - Waring's Pennsylvanians.  It is an upbeat song with many photos and images from the 1920's.  A truly enjoyable journey back in time.

The photo I am sharing today is one I took a couple of days ago...it is from my good friend's garden.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

The weather has been amazing here in Montreal.  Sunny, definitely not humid and a great time to take walks and to work in the garden...for those who have gardens.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  5. Lovely flowers! There are so many beautiful kinds. I don't know the names of most of them!

The music makes me want to do the Charleston (if I could . . .).

  10. Love the video...the 20s were before my time but I do remember we had an icebox and I do remember people selling ice for the ice boxes. And I also remember Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians.

Thanks for the trip down "memory lane." Beautiful flower you shot, too! Glad to see that spring is springing up in Montreal!
