Donkey Serenade

Hello everyone!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short, one minute "donkey serenade".  Hope you all enjoy it!

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on my nature park visit last week...a donkey and an alpaca.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Quotation:  The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.

  2. Love the quote about dogs and cats - very true in many ways. The video: Well, that could be called "animal cruelty" ... but I think I know what the donkey is thinking. He's thinking, "What is that jackass doing? He's driving me crazy!"

    Just kidding!

Our daughter in south Florida has donkeys on her wee mini-farm and I know she's thinking about adding an alpaca. Yikes!

  15. I just loved the duet of donkey and horn. It almost seemed like the donkey was trying to sing along! Just delightful!

  16. heh, that seems to be a very intelligent donkey in the video :D i've always been a little afraid of donkeys, cos i have the feeling that they sometimes kick and injure strangers. but i guess they're generally gentle creatures =)
