Fiddle and Flowers

Hello everyone!  The video I have chosen for this post is of a very talented 9 year old girl who plays the fiddle pretty well.  It is a short, two minute video that I hope you will all enjoy.

The humidity is on its way to Montreal and I am already beginning to feel the effects.  I have never been one to be able to handle the humidity so I would really appreciate you all keeping me in your prayers and thoughts.  That, plus the construction on roads is in full swing, so added to the humidity is a lot of noise and dust.

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took last week. As usual, I have no idea what type of flowers they are, I just found them pretty.  For some reason, I have always loved pink and green together...and purple and green as well.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  3. fiddling looks fun! maybe i should try it sometime, heh :D here's hoping the humidity isn't as bad expected. i can empathize; it's very humid all year long in my city, and this sort of climate does weigh heavily on us sometimes. on the bright side, i hope the weather will allow you to take more photos of flowers. love looking at them =)

  10. Yes, the heat and humidity are starting to build down in Tennessee, too. I don't like summer at all and stay inside the air conditioning as much as possible!
That young girl seems more mature than her chronological age - - - just the way she stands and moves. She is quite a fiddler with a gift for music for sure!

  11. Delightful images my friend! It's been quite stormy here lately and the blooms have faded for the most part. It's great to see such delights from your neck of the woods!

  15. Oh, Linda, I don't like the humidity either. It just drains the energy out of me. It hasn't gotten too bad here yet, but I think it's supposed to get worse later this week. I'll be thinking about you!

  17. The colors of the flowers are beautiful...it is so nice to have such beauty around. I also dislike the humidity and because of muscle problems it hurts :-/ Take it easy till it passes.

  18. I don't do well in high humidity either. I hope it doesn't last too long or that you can escape it soon.

  20. Nice combination of colors in those images of unknown flowers :-)
I don't like high humidity and high temperature myself, but that's hardly an issue in southern Norway the recent summers....
