Harmony, a Seagull and Update on my Health

Hello everyone!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short, two minute one entitled "Harmony:  Meditation Music for the Mind and Body".  I found it beautiful and relaxing and wanted to share it with you all.

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took last week on my nature park walk.  I found a seagull enjoying the beautiful view of the pond.  What I love about this photo is the beautiful green reflection of the trees in the water.  It looks as if the seagull is enjoying it, too.  :) You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for your responses, prayers and well wishes in response to my post yesterday.  I did go to a doctor and he said I have labyrinthitis, which was why I was feeling dizzy.  He has prescribed meds for it.  I am not sure if it is menopausal or not, but I know that since I began menopause ten years ago I have had many "firsts" in ailments.  Uveitis was the first, then the diverticulitis last August, then the calcium on my ankle and now labyrinthitis.  I am glad to know what was causing the dizziness.  I began taking the meds last night.  My blood pressure is normal and fine.  The pharmacist told me that they can make you sleepy/drowsy.  He was right.

Thanks to all of you for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  2. I think labyrinthitis is another name for what I have.So glad you have meds! What did he give you,if I can ask? Because my friend is terribly dizzy and they are just sending her to a neurologist. I have been hospitalized three times for diverticulitis and the doctors even had a conference about bowel re-sectioning. How many times have you had it and is it under control now? Do you take anything for it?

  3. Glad you found out the problem. It's always nice to know the name for something as the first step in dealing with it. Smart seagull; he knows a pretty scene when he sees it!

  5. I'd never heard of labyrinthitis until a friend had it last year. It took her some time to get over it. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm so glad your doctor was able to diagnose you and give you the right medication, Linda! Hope you're feeling 100% very soon.

The seagull looks like he or she is reflecting upon the reflection. :-) I like all the different shades of green you've captured here.

  9. The photograph is just superb, Linda! Like a painting! And the music is perfect for meditating. I've been out-of-pocket for a few days as you know so I didn't hear about your illness but am glad to know that it is under control and you are feeling better. Best wishes for continued improvement!

  10. I also wanted to say I'm sorry you couldn't comment on our website blog...perhaps you could try again. I was meddling with it yesterday trying different themes so perhaps that had something to do with it...

If you continue to have a problem, please let me know and I'll see if I can figure out what's wrong and fix it. :)

  12. Oh, dear Linda! I'm so sorry to have offended you. I've not been regular on the blogging scene for the past week or so and sometimes I look at a comment on my iPhone and then forget to publish it. Believe me, it wasn't deliberate at all...I'm going to check now and make sure they've been posted.

    Mea culpa!

  22. Hi Linda, sorry to hear about you having labyrinthitis. But I hope you will recover soon.

Since you're on medication, maybe you can check with you Dr. if you can take bee pollen granules and manuka honey, these two are super food. Bee pollen granules contains vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids, and protein. It comes from the pollen that collects on the bodies of bees. Bee pollen may also include bee saliva.

Canada produce the best bee pollen due to less pollution and since you're from Canada, you can easily get it from the health store. I'm in my 50's plus and I'd been taking these two and hardly or rarely get sick or having any problem. I ordered my bee pollen from Canada, they ship to Malaysia.

You can read more details from the website and please do check with your DR. first before taking cos you're on medication.

Thanks for sharing the video and picture, both are excellent.
Take care and have a nice day. Regards.
