A Tortoise Friendship and some Flowers

Hello everyone!  A warm welcome to all of you!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short 3 minute clip entitled "Leonard and Lula" it is about the friendship of an 11-month old girl and an African Leopard tortoise.  It is really a heartwarming video and has a lovely song!  I enjoyed the song and story very much and hope you will as well!  :)

The photos I am sharing today are ones I took on a walk earlier this week.  I don't know what they are but I liked the look of them so decided to take these photos.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. I think I'd be worried about her fingers! Pretty flowers.

  2. The first one, it is either a geranium or a begonia. The yellow one looks just a bit like a zinnia. You find the MOST pretty things, you must be surrounded by beauty!

  10. Recently we rescued a baby Robin from a window well and it's been a positive joy to watch the little fellow grow up. It really is heart warming to have something like that happen...somehow it gives hope and who couldn't use that these days?

  12. That is not the cuddly pet I would think of choosing for a preschooler but it looks like they are both used to being with each other. It's a nice video though - - and as usual - - BEAUTIFUL flowers!

Magnificent those red geraniums. In this case I have to be critical of the video. All of it is orchestrated by some irresponsible parents who try to humanize a reptilian or, on the contrary, try to reptilizar an innocent human child. It is a common mistake to try to attribute our pets human feelings and behaviors which sometimes has negative resutados either for the pet, or to human.
