Journey Back in Time and Upcoming Blogger Changes

Hello everyone!  I have been reading on a few blogs lately that Google is planning to ditch the Blogger reader.  This means that those of us who are following our favourite blogs won't be able to see the new posts anymore.  For about two months now I have been using Bloglovin.  On the right hand column of my blog here, at the top, you will see a button "Follow this blog with Bloglovin".  I would really appreciate it  if those of you who really enjoy my blog click on that button and follow me this way.  It is very easy to register...and free as well, and Bloglovin will send you an e-mail letting you know of the newest posts.  I receive an e-mail once per day, which is great, as I am notified of the new posts of the blogs I follow.  I think Blogger is making this change in just a couple of weeks!  Thank you so much in advance for doing this!

The video I have chosen for this post is a short, one minute journey back in time!  Remember the old F.W. Woolworth and Kresge's stores?  This video shows women shopping in a Kresge's store in the 1930's.

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on my nature park walk.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  3. I have always done my commenting by going down my sidebar, it is quick and gives me a thumbnail picture and title as soon as there are new posts.

  5. yes, i'm also sad that Google Reader will be gone soon. I'm now using another website called Feedly.com ... it works similarly to Google Reader, and it'll automatically register all the blogs you've been following on Google Reader if you start using it this month. and you can continue using it after Google Reader is gone, as it will have stored all your information. i've found it quite safe, secure and fairly easy to use so far, though its format takes awhile to get used to =)

  10. The cow has a look that sort of seems to say, "I thought I was by myself for a rest break."
    I signed up on bloglovin.
The video was interesting because most of us are the same way now. We didn't know we needed or wanted something until we saw it well displayed.

Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
