Mellow Monday

Hello everyone!  Thank you so much for stopping by!  The video I have chosen for this post is relaxing saxophone music by Jacob Merrill.  The video is just 3 minutes in length.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on my nature park walk.  I have no idea what they are called, but I love the colours and patterns!  I took these photos inside the greenhouse at the nature park.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

  1. Bonjour,
Finalement je ne suis pas loin du compte lorsque je peins des feuilles aux couleurs et formes étranges, n'est-ce pas ?...
    Des très jolies photos.

    1. Hi Sean, I think you are right about the plants! It was kind of a rainforest feeling in the greenhouse...hot and humid, which is why these plants thrive so well I guess. :)

  10. These leaves are beautiful!! The first one may be a prayer plant, I used to grow them. At the end of the day, the leaves all stood up like they were praying. Then with the dawn, they would come back down.

  13. I agree that the first one looks like a prayer plant. The last one is quite common, too but the name isn't coming to me right now. The saxophone was my mom's favorite instrument to listen to. I played clarinet and they aren't too much different - - but we didn't have the money for another instrument.
