St. Joseph's Oratory

Hello everyone!  A warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short, 5 minute clip "Secret Garden;  Sometimes When it Rains".  The music is very mellow and the images are beautiful.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took at St. Joseph's Oratory last week.  The first photo is of the Oratory's shrine, and I purposely took the photo at this angle to show you how amazing a structure it is!  The other two photos are of the fountain in the prayer garden.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. You've posted photos of the oratory several times. It must be one of your favorite places. I can see why.

  8. entrancing photos of the oratory. it looks like a grand building that might have stood there for many decades, so i was surprised when i googled it to learn that it was opened rather recently, in the 1960s :D

So nice to meet you! Rain, refreshing and revitalizing, a gift from Mother Nature, when accompanied with such beautiful music, a gift from mankind, is truly a miracle, in itself. Thanks for sharing and Happy Canada Day!!
