Bonjour,
ReplyDeleteNul doute que cet endroit mérite de très nombreux clichés... merci en tous les cas de nous faire partager vos photos. Elles sont magnifiques.
gros bisous à vous.
Beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteSuper video, Hugh said ,without even seeing it " That's from the 1930's!!"Imagine those kitchens today. Your quote, beautiful words to save and read again many times. Greetings, from Jean.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the kitchens!!! Great post! How are you doing? Thoughts and prayers for you daily...
ReplyDeletethat's a very pleasant-looking chapel. i can imagine it might be a place of peace and solace for many people =)
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of an oratory, and Phil is a substitute Pastor! It looks like a chapel, but bigger. It is very unusual with the top and the way the staircase is. So it is beside a bigger church? Are there services there, or only weddings and such?
ReplyDeleteFun music, and old kitchens Linda. The chapel is very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe old kitchen vignettes are lovely. My grandmothers' kitchens.
ReplyDeleteExcellent quote! Our perspective is affected by our outlook for sure. Beautiful, beautiful building! Definitely looks like a place to put on an itinerary if visiting the city. The song was fun, happy, and upbeat - - and the photos made me very thankful for our modern conveniences - - - especially a washing machine without a wringer!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful chapel! I love the design of the cross on top. Just stunning! Thank you for sharing your photos from your visit.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful chapel, Linda !
ReplyDeleteNice in the old time..., whaw...

ReplyDeleteLOVED the song! How could anyone keep still listening to that!?
ReplyDeleteWe were at St.Joseph's back in the 70's and thought it was beautiful....what a lovely shrine it is and yes the views are beautiful of the city!
thanks Linda....this was great.
Looks like I need to add Montreal to my places to visit list. Lovely shots of this chapel. Will need to check the history via your link.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely church and so well maintained.
ReplyDeleteThose staircases has spoiled the show.
The church is exquisite. I would love to visit it with my camera. The video is charming...love all the kitchen sinks. Kitchens now days are beautiful but they have lost charm and character.
