all ducks know to follow their mama :)
ReplyDeleteThe mother duck looked a little frazzled! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm certain my daughter feels like a mother duck sometimes!!! Now that her quads are walking I will try to snap a pic of them following her around!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, I wonder if that seagull has a bit of brain damage? Or maybe was kicked out of his flock...
ReplyDeleteOh, aren't those ducks adorable?!
ReplyDeleteHey Linda - fellow Montrealer here - I'm always so thrilled to find a blogger from Canada never mind my own backyard!!!

I love watching birds. Your photos are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThat Wilson quote is true! It might look like most ducks are the same, but just like people, we ought to look closer to really be able to tell the difference =)

I love how companionable the seagull has decided to be with the ducks.
ReplyDeleteVery cute video. My body felt sore watching them rolling all over the place!

Nature's ability to soldier on is quite inspirational don't you think? Love that!

ReplyDeleteThat video Linda is the CUTEST!! Feathers flying everywhere!! That poor mother duck!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine this world without birds.
Oh, my, I had never thought about how the wind could roll around those little ducklings! So glad they regrouped. Mama knew what to do. :-)
ReplyDeleteMe ha dado pena ver como el viento arrastraba a esos pobres patitos. Menos mal que al final todo salió bien. Un abrazo,
