Genius Bird

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is entitled "Genius Bird."  It is a short two minute clip on raven intelligence.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones I took a couple of weeks ago.  The first photo is of a Callas lily.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

  3. ooo, i've never thought much about ravens before. i guess we sometimes use the phrase 'bird-brained' to refer to someone silly, but birds can be pretty smart! :D

  13. Los córvidos siempre me parecieron inteligentes. De tus flores me gustan las de ese geranio pelargonio que, además, tiene las hojas perfumadas con aromas cítricos. Un abrazo,

  21. Hi Linda: Thanks for visiting our blog. I love ravens and the more I read about them, the more certain I am as to their intelligence. I rarely see them but often see crows and blackbirds. All beautiful!

    Cheers,

  23. Ravens have been persecuted here in the U.K for ages. Now they're a protected species there are now twelve thousand pairs here in the U.K. I'm afraid the farmers still tend to break the law and shoot them, but they're also becoming a popular pet.
    Lovely pictures too Linda
