Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
hi linda, i enjoy visiting your blog every day because you provide us with a dose of welcome, much-needed positive vibes. as we all know, there are so many negative influences in our world, in our lives. it's wonderful when we're able to reach out to each other and provide support and encouragement to each other. i understand that you have a lot of personal struggles in your life, but i appreciate how you share your experiences with us =)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! Well, I am new to your blog actually. I just enjoy hearing good words about our Lord. I am also loving the blog community, and appreciate how open everyone is to visiting each other and encouraging each other. Maybe I am not the best person to reflect on your question?
ReplyDeleteI can always use a reminder to live in the moment. That's where God is!
Happy Monday!

Lurer på hvor du finner all de fine videoer :-) kjempe kult.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this post is a fine example of what I love about your blog. You share the wisdom and beautiful things that you find in life, and it makes for a very positive experience. I appreciate your sharing your own struggles, and I appreciate the kindness that you show to us. I always leave your blog feeling like, yes, we're all in this together, and we'll make it. :-)
ReplyDeleteAn answer..., Linda, your daily warm welcome, and the encouagement you give here or on my blog (without knowing it...) !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Thank you, Linda, for another beautiful post!
ReplyDeleteCarpe diem, live in the moment, really is the way to go, life's too short to waste even a moment's time.
I come back here because I feel welcome here, and I always take away a gift of the one or other kind.
Best wishes,
Merisi

ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoy the most about your blog is your honestly!
ReplyDeleteque du bon dans votre blog.

C'est un plaisir chaque fois de passer. Merci Linda
I like that you have a lot of variety. You include nature photos and flowers and share things about yourself, too. You seem like a someone I could be best friends with if you lived next door. I hope you feel better this week. I'm keeping you in my prayers. Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteThis is what I love about your blog. Very positive!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the video...it is right now..that is all we have. We are to LIVE in it. I like your uplifting and encouraging videos and the thoughts and well wishes you share. As one of your commenters said they feel welcome here and so do I :)
ReplyDeleteDearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteLove to visit your blog because this is not about pretending, not about wanting to be popular, not about running all behind each other in the many hypes of 'remodelling', painting all white and making it look distressed... What it really does is making each other's soul distressed.
No, for the same reasons I called my business 'Mariette's Back to Basics' meaning going back to the core of life. What is really important. I cannot afford all the new 'hypes' but over a lifetime I have collected some valuable and beautiful things that I will keep forever. Why toss things out and waste money over and over again? I keep my husband too, as well as I keep my felines. It's about a commitment and not for running after all the new ideas, new so-called life-styles that are in fact empty hulls. Not fulfilling and not creating happiness.
If you open your eyes and love nature, you are rich. If you happen to have your own garden where you can work and where your thoughts can dwell and melt together with the core, the purpose of life, our Creator; than you are Rich and very Happy.
So yes, keep doing what you do and even if I love it when one uses personal photos and personal text, the way you select often meaningful videos is also a great motivation for looking in a different direction. I don't do Pinterest. Neither do I show on my blog pictures that I copy & paste from around the Internet; as many do. That is meaningless, they are pretending! There are already too much fake and pretentious life-styles in this world.
Neither do I change anything about my face or hair. Trying to grow gracefully old; just like my Grandmothers managed. They far more set an example for me than any of those 'Barbie doll' look alikes that think they're pretty. What about their husbands? They leave them behind and try to widen the age gap? For sure they do widen the common sense gap!
Enough said. No-nonsens lifestyle in this time of difficulty is far more important.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
I like the honesty and "realness" of your blog. Also, the way you find something positive to say, a little ray of sunshine each day :) Keep on doing what you're doing Linda!
ReplyDeleteDear Linda - I love your blog for so many reasons...it always lifts me up...your videos of the animals makes me smile. I sense your love of what the creator has made. Your pictures are lovely. The music and the soothing scenes always seem to be just what I needed that day. You certainly accomplish much in what you give my friend. Thank you for your wonderful gift of taking the time to share beauty and joy. May God Bless You!
ReplyDeleteI agree, we have only this moment to act in, to be kind in, to pray in. I am new to your blog and enjoy upbeat posts, quotes and Scripture here.
ReplyDeleteI can't see the video b/c they are blocked at work. But I enjoy visiting your blog mainly for your flower pictures. I love to see what others have in their gardens and flowers (and plants) always make me smile. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your online friendship! Your posts and comments are appreciated.
I am fairly new to this blog, and what I have noticed is the calmness and the positive spirit you portray. Your music is beautiful and your eye for pretty and beautiful things that surround us. That is what keeps me coming back ... I know that is a big part of who YOU are.
ReplyDeleteThis is exactly where I've been lately. Fretting over the future during the present does nothing for the future and the present is ruined by worry. I appreciate this my friend.
ReplyDeleteDo not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. - Buddha thats tru !
ReplyDeleteHola Linda, yo tengo un lema que dice: "Todos morimos a causa de vivir; si morir es inevitable, ¡vivamos pues!". De tu blog me gusta la sencillez y cotidianeidad de tus entradas. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeleteI try to be positive now and for the future. And keep positive people close by me in life....:)
ReplyDelete@Miss you(r log), Linda...
ReplyDeleteHug,
Lie(f)s.
You may be having the summer doldrums, also known as dog days. The long, hot days take a lot out of you. As the days get shorter and cooler, you'll probably perk right up!
ReplyDeletebe joyful and surround yourself with happiness!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this video. I was just lately feeling my self trying to control so many things for the future and other peoples lives I needed that reminder to let it all go and just live for only one purpose and the is to present in God. Thanks for stopping my place, have a wonderful week.
