Newborn Capybaras & Montreal Views

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a short, one minute clip of a newborn capybaras...it is delightful!  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took yesterday at Old Montreal...and the Old Port of Montreal.  The first photo is of the Notre Dame Cathedral.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

The high heat and humidity in Montreal has begun and is supposed to last until Wednesday.  Temperatures will be around 40 celsius with the humidity.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. I'm sorry that it is so unpleasant interms of weather...apparently I'm about to travel to Europe to arrive in a heatwave.

  2. The middle picture looks like Finding Nemo, and a car, or a boat! Or a car that turns into a kayak! I have heard of Capybras but don't think I have ever seen one before!

  3. I don't think I've ever heard of capybaras, so this was very educational for me. They're so cute!

    That cathedral is stunning.

I'm sorry you've got so much heat and humidity going on. I hope you get some relief soon! :-)

  7. Is it a bus or what? Our weather is not like yours at all. today it´s very windy and 17 degrees. Our summer isn´t at all what I want...too cold. But in September we´ll go and visit our son in Dallas, and hopefully I can get to see the sun then.

  20. Linda - I had never seen capybaras before - how cute. My parents visited Montreal years ago and said what a beautiful city it was and your pictures certainly show it has not changed.
