this brings back so many memories.
Loved the plan shots too. Very good.
What amazing leaves. I LOVED those stores, you could walk around them for HOURS!! I guess now the dollar stores are the new five and tens, but not NEAR the same atmosphere! And definitely no soda fountain or lunch counter...

ReplyDeleteI grew up in Kamloops, BC, we had Woolworth's but not Kresge's I remember my first plate of french fries at their counter I was 6.... I like the RWE's quote.

Little stores like that seem to have gone the way of the dinosaurs. Traveling abroad I still see them on occasion and I like that so much. Love your leafy pictures!
