Refreshing Fountains

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen is a short, 4 minute clip of a beautiful fountain with lovely birds visiting...and you can hear the sound of the fountain, the birds chirping and some soothing music.  I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did.  :)  None of the videos I share are my own, I find them on YouTube, watch them and then pick what I wish to share here.

I have always loved fountains!  Whenever I come across one I cannot help but spend some time there listening to it, watching the water flow and it seems as though my troubles flow away with the water.  I find them very soothing and great therapy, not to mention cooling on a hot day.  The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took today!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

I took this photo at Montreal's Old Port.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. I love fountains too. A few years ago, I did a post abut all the ones I had seen. Do you have one of those small tabletop ones they sell?

I really like your first shot. The water looks like a giant glass bowl. Fountains are wonderful. There is something so serene and peaceful about the sound of flowing water.

  6. Hi Linda, just wanted to thank you for visiting and commenting. I love fountains too and they feel so cooling to watch in this unusually hot weather we're having in the UK. I watched some children joyfully running in and out of one of those fountains which you can walk through (jets that come out of the pavement) yesterday - their happiness was infectious. x
