Serenade of Water

Hello everyone!  A warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a two minute clip entitled "Serenade of Water" (Harp; Legend of Zelda)  I found it lovely and relaxing.  Enjoy!

I know that many people are experiencing very hot and humid temperatures, and Montreal will be as well over the next several days, so I thought this post would be soothing and refreshing.

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on a walk in a park that has a large man made pond.  There were ducks with their ducklings, Canada geese and koi...it was a beautiful sight!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

These are fantastic shots, Linda! I especially love the first one. There's something wonderfully surreal about seeing the koi swimming right underneath the ducks. I really appreciate the quotes too.

  3. when the weather's hot and humid, it might be nice to be a goose. we'd just hop into the lake, dunk ourselves in the water and cool down. lovely photos :D

  4. I like the last quote very much! And the baby duck shots are so cool, because you can clearly see the fish beneath them.

  12. Nothing like the sound of water to sooth. Some people around here there are some that have fountains and I love to hear that. It's in the nineties here but low humidity which is our norm for this time of the year.
