That has to be the first groundhog I've seen.
ReplyDeleteNice pics. Interesting quote. I think one of the Chinese philosophers said something similar about playing an instrument.
ReplyDeleteI love that quote--it's so true!
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny about the groundhog. He was probably very surprised by your call! :-) Great photos of him and the deer.
And I enjoyed the sounds of the sea. So soothing!
I cannot believe you called a groundhog and it came!!! They are also called Whistle Pigs because their warning call is a high pitched whistle. Maybe he thought you were a giant groundhog whistling to him!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're keeping comfortable and well during the heat wave =) nice photos. I just realized I've never seen a groundhog in real life before! :D
ReplyDeleteAloha Linda :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda ! Nice post...and you can send some of that heat to us i "cold" Sweden :-) For the moment rather chilly for beeing summer.
ReplyDeleteWish you all the best !

Fantastic post, beautiful photos:) Greetings
ReplyDeleteIt keeps raining here. Good for the green things to grow.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter's family was at the beach a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. We have had LOTS of rain this week so it has been a bit cooler. That is funny about the groundhog - - that he would stop and pose for you rather than running. Pretty neat!
ReplyDeleteLove the variety of animals you've showcased here today! stormy weather arrived yesterday and is here cooling things today...I'm very grateful for it!
ReplyDeleteSpecial animals, Linda, beautiful ! Never seen.
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.

ReplyDeleteMy youngest daughter's partner will be enjoying your heat wave, he's a musician with a band called Cold Specks who's lead singer is a Canadian by the name of Al Spx. Interesting music, I can enjoy some of it.
Groundhog Day, eh. You didn't catch sight of Bill Murray then.
