I agree with the quote....a bad attitude is worse than a disability. Holy cow...that airplane would give someone a heart attack if they did expect it.beautiful flower photo's...and not sure what the van is for...interesting.
ReplyDeleteHa ha - yeah, I've seen that video before - ST. Maartens I believe (a former Dutch colony hence KLM).
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo on the side of that truck and love the flowers.

Great photos from your walk Linda :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing fete those airplanes have to do every day. Thank you for sharing the video Linda, I don't know what I would think of being on that plane or that beach, the noise alone :) Great photos from your walk, all so pretty and very enjoyable. Wishing you a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteGood grief! I think some engineer needs to come up with a better approach to that airport. Yikes! That's a disaster waiting to happen. Your photos, on the other hand, are lovely...and peaceful. :)

Love the PEI van, lovely flowers, and the plane!!! Well, I'm glad I wasn't in it or near. Cheers from Jean.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that truck!!!!
ReplyDeletethat's an interesting truck in your photo. i like how it's so beautifully painted all over. and the fountain design in the other photo is lovely too, very intricate =)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I'd have liked to be in that red car....
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the truck, the red flowers look like knockout roses, but you got me on the gorgeous pink flowers, I don't have a clue and have not seen any like them, so beautiful and girly!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when I was stationed in Hong Kong Linda, my wife used to take our baby daughter onto our eleventh floor balcony to wave to the planes landing at Kai Tak airport. We were level with the plane windows and could see the passengers faces.
ReplyDeleteLove the artwork on the van.
Have a nice weekend.

WOW - - there did not seem to be much margin for error in that landing! It would have been nerve-wracking to be in the car that passed underneath the airplane!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos from your walk - - - quite cheerful!
The flowers are very beautiful. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteDearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteFunny to find that video from a landing at St. Maarten, the Dutch half of the island in the Caribbean. The other half is French but the airport is on the Dutch side. This is a KLM, Royal Dutch Airline plane landing...
Lovely photos you took.
Hugs,
Mariette
