Autumn Leaves

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to each and every one of you!  The video I have chosen for this post is a lovely instrumental song entitled "Autumn Leaves."  It is just 3 minutes long.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on a recent walk.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Quote:  Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower. - Albert Camus

Quote:  By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer's best of weather and autumn's best of cheer.
- Helen Hunt Jackson

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  6. What a mellow sound! I always liked “les feuilles mortes” since I heard it the first time by Yves Montand. We don’t have any golden leaves here yet as in the Deep South we are a bit late, but that is my favorite season.

  7. Nice tune. I haven't heard much jazz lately. That piece reminds me of how peaceful it is.

I like your variety of leaves.

  17. I learnt to appreciate Autumn during my stay in North Carolina. The Blue Ridge area looks like a painters palette in Fall. Made me wish I get a cabin in Smokies or near Asheville.
