Cardinal Song & Nature Photos

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is less than two minutes in length and is of a male cardinal's song.  Enjoy!

You know, I actually saw a male cardinal a couple of weeks ago...he was in a tree singing, but as soon as I tried to take photos of him he flew away.  Oh well, it's no big deal.  I actually DID manage to get a couple of photos of a dragonfly today!!!  Yes, this was my first successful attempt, so I am quite happy about this!  The photos I am sharing here are ones that I took today!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.  The first two photos are of the dragonfly.

These last photos are ones I took of a squirrel today.  He was on his way up a tree and I managed to get him to pose for me. :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  3. I never get a photo or video of the birds I find. They fly away too fast.

  4. Hi Linda,

First of all, thanks for visiting my nature blog recently and leaving a comment.

Secondly, I do love photographing dragonflies, though they are hard to spot. I snapped a couple of photos the other day when one landed on my balcony :)
