I'm always amazed how mother whales can care for young in the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThat whale video was great. Imagine being on that boat. Wow! Great beginning-of-fall photos, too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful leaves of Quebec. I do love the eastern provinces when it comes time for Fall colours! I did watch the video. I love whales in their natural habitat. But I was disturbed that the people were all petting the whales. These are wild mammals and shouldn't be disturbed in that way. Look but do not pet. That is like trying to pet a wild bear. Sometimes whales will upset boats too and that woman shrieking could have upset the whales enough to do that. I think the tourists were fortunate.
ReplyDeleteLovely whale video! I think I would have been just as excited as the people in the boat if I had been there.
ReplyDeleteWe're seeing a few changing leaves, though most will happen later in the fall. Thanks for sharing! :-)
I loved your autumn leaf photos Linda, and that video was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing and wishing you a great week :)
ReplyDeleteI love your leaf photos, I think my favorite is the second one for the beautiful shape and also the little bits of red showing.
ReplyDeleteLovely autumn photos.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
Bonito vídeo de ballenas. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeleteI was lucky enough to be this close in a small boat to a Mom and her baby, they swam under us and around us, and peeked up at us, came close to the boat, we petted them and they observed us as much as we did them. This is such a happy and an amazing video, enjoyed your lovely photos too.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, thanks for sharing some images of a season that doesn't exist for us here in Malaysia :)

Whales are such beautiful and intelligent creatures. I loved that video. And it looks like autumn has already made its way to your neck of the woods. It's still about 3-4 weeks away here from the leaves beginning to turn. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteoooo, i'm excited to see what more autumn will hold for nature. these are interesting shades for these plants and leaves =)
ReplyDeleteDearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteLovely video and especially because of interaction between humans and mammals.
Your walks are always lovely, no matter the season!
Enjoy the fall. We are still having sunny days; finally after two months of flash flooding and so much rains.
Hugs to you and a happy new week.
Mariette
Do I detect some fall in those pictures? I can feel it here even if it doesn't quite seem like it yet.
