A Sincere and Heartfelt Thank You!

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is entitled "Just a Jumpin' Riff" (Fred Bunge, 1959).  This is a new one for me, first time I have heard it.  I found it quite enjoyable and hope you all do as well!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all so much for reading, sharing my blog and for your kind comments!  You are all an encouragement to me!

If any of you wish to share my blog or any particular post with your friends or family, please feel free to!  It is an honour to me and I really appreciate it that you would want to share my blog with others.  For those of you who may not know how to do this...at the end of each of my posts you will see little icons.  F is for Facebook, T is for Twitter, M is for e-mailing and B is to blog it.

I still enjoy taking my walks and bringing my camera with me so that I can share my findings with you all.  Even though I find bright sun (and night shots) a challenge, I still enjoy trying...and learning as I go along.  For myself, and I am speaking just for myself, I don't wish to avoid things (such as the bright sun or night shots), as if I avoid them I will never learn how to work with them!  Sometimes it works well and sometimes it doesn't, but I enjoy practicing, experimenting and playing with my camera, and thank you all so much for your encouragement!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on a recent walk.  In the second photo...I found a seagull relaxing in an empty store parking lot.  The last two photos are of some berries that I found.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. Lovely photos as always. Night shots are very difficult aren't they? I try to capture shots of the moon or the stars but it's so difficult!

  2. Aww, the poor little seagull, all fluffed up and alone. The flowers today have me stumped. They look almost look like coneflowers..

  10. Bonjour chère amie,

J'espère que les automobilistes se seront autorisés le dépassement de la ligne jaune afin d'éviter cet oiseau.

    Merci pour vos jolies photos.
