Chinese Lanterns

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  I chose this lovely, 2 minute video entitled "Soothing Island Waves" for this post.  It has the relaxing sound of ocean waves accompanied with beautiful photos of the Caribbean coast. Enjoy!  :)

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took on a recent walk.  I cannot get enough of these gorgeous Chinese lanterns...which I have only seen in one park thus far!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. These are just wonderful and they really so look like little lanterns! My friend gave me some of hers, but they never really bloomed.

Those flowers are so pretty. They remind me of small pumpkins. :-)

  7. Aren't the Chinese lanterns just pretty? I have one in a hanging planted but I have never seen them anywhere else. I hope mine survives cause it seems to be losing its leaves....Christine

  15. Hi Linda! Thanks for coming by my blog. I have those Chinese Lanterns hanging off my front porch. Our neighbor had them in her garden and she wanted them out, so for the fall, I decided to hang them off the front porch. Lovely pictures. Blessings
