Having Fun with Squirrels

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is very short...less than one minute!  It is a clip of a squirrel eating a lemon.  Enjoy!

I have always enjoyed encountering and photographing squirrels, and the photos I am sharing today are ones that I took yesterday on my walk.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  1. Linda, here we have opossums that peel a lemon straight off the tree and eat the flesh, I had always thought they would be so sour!! Lovely pics on your walk. Greetings from Jean.

  8. Those are some busy little squirrels, feeding up for winter. We have a couple of black squirrels this winter; unusual for our area.

  13. What fun creatures squirrels are! I am always annoyed when people call them pests, they are just a very clever animal who can tolerate living alongside us! Thanks for sharing :-)

  17. Not a fan of squirrels though your picture are cute. Don't see many gray squirrels where I live. I see small red ones around here.

  20. I think squirrels are cute but some people look at them as furry rodents. It is funny that squirrel liked the lemon. They are so sour.

  21. Squirrels are cute, but the problem I've mentioned before is that they're passing on their disease to the red ones who can't survive. My neighbour spotted a grey at the weekend, the first we've had in the town. That's nature I suppose !
