Journey Back in Time

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a vintage Campbell's soup ad (I believe from the 1950's).  It is one minute in length.  Enjoy!

I remember Campbell's soup from my childhood and even though I extremely rarely purchase canned soups now I still enjoyed this vintage ad, which brought back great memories for me.  It's so refreshing to see an old wholesome commercial!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took back in June of this year.  I took these photos inside a greenhouse at a nature park.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

You have a bromeliad and a...gosh I have one sitting right here in front of me in my living room and I can't think of the name. I have had mine over five years and it blooms.

  9. Great video! I think it's interesting that they advise you to eat soup once a day. Commercials are so different nowadays.

Pretty photos! I like watching fish swim around. So peaceful.

  25. Ah don't you just enjoy all those old commercials. Campbell's soup was something we often had at lunch time when I was young. Like you I no longer have it. The photos that were taken in June are so lovely...will be looking forward to greenhouse days again. Seems like winter's landscape almost makes one forget. Then we are so wonderfully surprised in the spring when we make our first visit of the season. Have a great week end.
