German Zither Music and Some Photos

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have selected for this post is a wonderful 2 minute clip performed on a German zither..."Let it Be".  If you are fellow Beatles fans and/or enjoy good and gentle music, you will love this!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in June 2010 at the Montreal Botanical Gardens and of a January 2011 Christmas/winter display outside of a house that I found pretty.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  6. What skill and competence on the zither. I expected applause at the end, but the smile was wonderful, too.

  17. Amazing zither Linda. Whenever zither is mentioned of course, it brings to mind Anton Karas and the wonderful Third Man theme.
Love the wagon, I wonder if it's an original ?

  23. That song "Let It Be" is so pretty on the zither. The wagon reminds me of an old fashioned Christmas. Wouldn't it be nice if we had one. Take care and have a great day.
