River Dance & Donkeys

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have selected for this post is a 2 minute clip of some great river dancers.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing in this post are ones that I took in August 2010, just a few months after I got my first digital camera.  I have always loved donkeys...and these donkeys were in a nature park in a HUGE enclosure.  I was captivated by their company.  They came up to me right to the edge of the enclosure and made it easy for me to take their photos. One even looks as if he is smiling.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  27. Dearest Linda,
This River Dance post did bring back fond memories for me. In 1999 I saw Michael Flatley's Troupe perform Lord of the Dance at Epcot in Orlando. I was with my youngest brother and his wife. Only 30 minutes but WOW; what a show!
I'm healing well from my major surgery and in 2 weeks I'm supposed to be fine!
    Hugs and love to you,
    Mariette

  28. It's always great to be in at the start of something. It was in 1994 at the Eurovision Song contest. It was the interval, and Bill Whelan had composed Riverdance. The world was blown away and the rest is history.
    Love the donkeys.
    Lovely !
