Vintage Christmas TV Commercial & a Snow Photo

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a vintage Christmas TV ad that brings back great childhood memories for me.  Enjoy!

The photo I am sharing today is one I took in December 2010 during a snowfall!  Yes, those are snowflakes you see on my photo. It was a Christmas display outside of an apartment building.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  2. Oh, the snow makes the Christmas scene even more festive! :-)

I enjoyed the commercial, too. It's kind of odd to see a man in a suit and tie advertising something "fun" like the stencils.

  6. I don't remember that ad or the product, but it makes me want to go out and buy some! The Christmas scene in your photo just made me smile. I guess it's the happy little snowman in the foreground. :)

  12. Imagino que, con la intensidad de la nevada que se aprecia en la foto, el muñeco del primer plano se convertiría en un auténtico muñeco de nieve en poco tiempo. Un abrazo

  13. I love the snowflakes in that pic!! That's a really good capture because snowflakes tend to be difficult to capture in pictures.

  21. I remember the Glass Wax adds and we also did the stencil thing with the wax. I don't remember washing windows with it but it sure dried white before it was rubbed off of the windows.
