An Irish Blessing

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a beautiful song, "An Irish Blessing" sung by Roma Downey (who plays the role of "Monica" on Touched by an Angel).  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in July 2011.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  1. She sings so pretty! I didn't know she sang. Thank you for sharing that lovely blessing. And your colorful flowers are so nice to see on a winter's night. :-)

  4. A beautiful, moving song - thanks, had never heard it.

    Here's my favourite Irish blessing:

    May the road rise up to meet you,
    May the wind be always at your back,
    May the sun shine warm upon your face,
    and the rains fall soft upon your fields;
    and until we meet again,
    May you be held in the warmth of God's hand.

    Lovely, colourful shots, Linda.

  18. Love the video Linda, I was lucky enough to see Phil Coulter in the late 70's. "The town I loved so well" is one of my favourite songs.
    Colourful flowers too.

  22. I love her acting. She and her husband did an interview about their Bible Series Movie that was on television last year. It was so interesting to hear about their faith and that project.
