Wonder Filled Wednesday & Popup Windows on Blogger Comments

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have selected for this post is a 1 minute clip of cows grazing...and mooing.  I found it quite nice.  Enjoy!

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took in August 2010!  I shared a photo I took of a heron sometime ago, and here is another heron that I almost missed!  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

I mentioned a couple of times in recent blog posts that I am having some technical issues with commenting on some blogs.  I have been told by a few fellow bloggers that they are having the same issues...so if you wish to, and are able to, I would so much appreciate it if you could change it on your blog so that the comments area doesn't appear in a separate popup window.  Thank you so much!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  1. Love the pictures of the cows, I used to always dream about having a little farm house with a cow named Bell, Bell was always pale cream and light brown with a wonderful bell on a leather strap around her neck,...thanks for the memories...

  2. I'd be happy to change my comment form, but don't know quite how to do it. If you know how, would you mind sharing the directions? Thanks!

    1. Hi Linda, that is very kind of you. Thank you so much! Fortunately your blog doesn't have a popup window on the comments, so I am able to comment easily. Thanks again! :)

  3. Dear Linda - I know that I too have had difficulties being able to comment...for some strange reason it will pop up and say comment form not available and let me choose to wait. If I click close I can usually finish up typing and publish. Linda your heron is lovely. I can never see to many of these gorgeous birds. Isn't there something peaceful about those bovine? Thank you for sharing and stay warm - hope the weather isn't too bad for you up there. Very cold here.

  6. What's the matter with pop up windows? I like them because you don't have to leave the page or scroll up and down.

    1. Hi Shay, I understand, and popup windows may not be a problem for yourself, but they are for me, as I cannot scroll and/or comment on the popup windows.

  7. Loved the little video of the cows mooing.
I have no idea why some of the comments are in the pop ups and some are not. I wonder if there is even a way to fix it.

  8. Hi, Linda. If mine is one of the problem blogs, please email me and tell me how to fix it.

The heron is beautiful, and I love the fun reflections in the picture of the boats.

  9. Our grandson loves cows. Every time he sees a picture of one, he says, "Moooooo." He is eighteen months old. I am thinking you have been able to comment on mine but if not, please let me know. Thanks.

  14. I love the Canadian accent of the cows. Apparently all animals have regional dialects. I wonder if Newfie cows go (M) oo (M) aarr ?

    1. I don't find it cheeky at all! Thank you. I tried this code a while back but it seems that the online editor I use for the copyright on my photos doesn't work.

  21. Hi Linda! I've been catching up on your recent posts. They are always up-lifting. I do hope that there is an Anheuser-Busch commercial on the Super Bowl broadcast on Sunday. Go Broncos! Go Peyton!! The clip of the Clydesdales was hysterical. Cows? Cows scare the heck out of me! I've been chased a number of times, and I saw my brother almost hooked by one terror in our past called Molly. It could have been me, but I could run faster and took a flying leap off a steep bank while Roy froze on the edge of the bank. He managed to scramble off missing Molly's hook by one or two inches. That Molly was something else! Where have all the cow horns gone?

  24. I don't like pop up style of comments either. We've calm pastures near us...when the cows are out I know spring/summer is really here. For now the pastures are empty :(
