Just Whistle and Blow Your Blues Away!

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  The video I have chosen for this post is a delightful 3 minute song from the 1930's "Whistle and Blow Your Blues Away" by Ben Selvin.  The image stays the same throughout the video, so you can listen without having to watch. It is an upbeat, catchy tune!  Enjoy!

I thought the above song was perfect, since many are having the "winter blues."

The photos I am sharing today are ones that I took a few years ago at Montreal's Biodome.  I can never resist a waterfall or fountain, and this time was no exception.  I actually took these photos from behind the waterfall.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  15. I absolutely love these kind of places in the Northern Cities. You go in its 80 degrees F. and their is green everywhere. Take and deep breath and think spring. Both St. Paul and Milwaukee near us have them.....

  16. Hi Linda! I've been enjoying your most recent posts. I love how they are upbeat and lift my spirits! The post on Alice Herz-Sommers has such an important message. You really can choose the good side and be optimistic! Maybe not every single moment ~ We all face challenges, and they can get us down. But we can choose not to stay down wallowing in the bad. Loved the ducklings learning to swim. Mothers of all sorts are amazing! Keep up with your photography! Your cheerful pictures lift spirits too!
