Selection Saturday

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  I have decided to make a different post than I usually do with a variety of things to choose from.  Hope you all enjoy my selections.  The reason why I am calling this post "Selection Saturday" is because you get to choose what you wish to read or watch, and I look forward to reading your responses to this post.  Of course you are welcome to check them all out, if you wish to and have the time!  Thank you in advance!

I found this story and just had to share it here.  It is a remarkable and inspiring story equipped with photos that inspired me and touched my heart, as I hope it will for you.
If you, like myself, love animals and nature, you will enjoy this!
Diver's Meeting with a Leopard Seal

Next is a lovely video entitled "Peacefully" by Giovanni Marradi.  The images are beautiful and soothing, as is the music.  Enjoy!

Next up is a photo I found on a page on Facebook.  I am sharing the link to this page at the bottom of the photo.  The page is "Meanwhile in Canada" and has many humorous things on it.

This is a video of the amazing intelligence and problem solving skills of crows.

Many of you have been enjoying the Just for Laughs Gags, and here is another one for you.  :)

And last but certainly not least, this story really touched my heart.  Hope you all enjoy it.  Any of you who have a disability of know someone who has a disability will really appreciate this!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.  I look forward to reading your responses and seeing which thing(s) here you enjoyed.

  2. I watched the crow video and the Just for Laughs video. The crow video was amazing. I'd seen similar ones, but not this exact one. And, of course, the Just for Laughs routine was a hoot. I imagine they had some dry cleaning bills to pay after that stunt.

  13. I probably spent an hour scrolling through Meanwhile in Canada. It reminds me of what my aunt, a nun, said on emerging from a protestant church service: "Why, it's almost like ours." It was great fun.

  17. Such a great collection of interesting things to look at and listen to. I loved the photograph tale with the seal, the bird with his puzzle, the funny soup bowl – a very good selection indeed.
