  3. Lovely 1901 video, I thought of my Mum , as my Grandmother sailed off to NZ with 3 small children, , in 1909. Quotes as always, thought provoking and so true. Cheers,Jean.

  9. That just for laughs is hilarious Linda.
    Though Flatt and Scruggs were big in America in the 1950's, it was the 60's before I got into them. I've still got my original Flatt and Scruggs 1965 Long Playing record. In 2012 there was a 'Celebration of Life' for Earl Scruggs from the Ryman Auditorium. It was brilliant for me to visit and remember in 2013.
    Great vintage of the Cunard line too.

So impressed with the glass harp and Sugar Plum Fairy - just goes to show it isn't necessarily the instrument but the gift of talent! Great quotes...ones I will take with me as I go today.
