Friday Treasures & a Health Update

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!

I went to the doctor on Sunday and he had sent me for a couple of tests to see what was causing my horrible condition, and it has been more than 3 weeks now.  I thought my condition was improving in my last update that I shared with you all, but that was very short lived.  I saw the doctor today and he has received the first test results.  I have a bacterial infection called C Difficile.  Neither the doctor nor myself have any idea how I came to have this. Anyway, he has begun me on some antibiotic that I have started with today...and am to take for the next 10 days.  I also plan to, of course, eat plenty of fruits and veggies, yogourt and other healthy foods.  He wants to see me back in 5 days to see how I am doing and to see if the second test results show anything more.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with C Difficile, I am providing a link for you here.
C Difficile   Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and thoughts on my behalf.  If anything new arises I will let you know.

The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

  1. Oh? Bacterial, eh? Glad it's nothing serious. Take your meds, get well soon. Ya...I always eat a lot when sick - psycho, I think I need the energy to fight back. Many cannot eat and lose weight when sick, I will put on weight. :(

  2. I am SO sorry! Yes, I know about CDiff. I have been tested for it about three times. It is just miserable, and you really have my sincere sympathy! Considering what you have, I think you were a brave girl and did not complain to us near as much as you could have.

  19. I had never heard of that infection before, and hope you will be healed soon. Yes, take yogurt, a good kind is Siggi, which has 7 live cultures and is super tasty. My favorite is their coconut because it has just a little sugar.
