Christmas Continues at Linda's Peaceful Place...for a Little While Longer

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!  I will continue the Christmas theme on my blog until some time in January, and for those of you who may have missed my post earlier in December, I mentioned that I will be keeping the Christmas theme into January because many people struggle with depression at this time of year, so I am, rather than abruptly stopping Christmas on my blog, am opting to keep it around a little longer for all to enjoy and participate in the Christmas spirit.

The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

An Old Fashioned Christmas - The Carpenters

Steak and Guinness Pie - Jamie at Home

Terrifying Wolf Bites Steve

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  4. Wolf video, so touching to see people interact, and the other side of this hardship, I so long to be there, but will hang on tightly.Your words inspire and give me hope, as Hugh struggles, even with the new Blue Chariot. Photo to come tomorrow. Hugs, Jean.

  11. Hi, Linda! I admire you for thinking about people who experience depression at this time of the year. In mid January a friend of mine must face the anniversary of her son's suicide. I am in favor of keeping the spirit of Christmas alive throughout the year.

Mrs. Shady and I recently watched a documentary about the wolves that inhabit Yellowstone Park. They are fascinating animals, often misunderstood, hunted and hated, and I appreciated this clip you posted today which shows how intelligent they are and how gentle they can be if treated properly. I also thank you for the smiles and the joyful sounds of the season.

Have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend, dear friend Linda!

  12. Bonjour Linda
J'ai beaucoup aimé la vidéo avec les loups. On voit bien les attitudes "dominant et dominés" des postures que je vois avec mes deux chiennes.
J'espère que tu as pu passer un bon Noël. Bonne journée à toi. Bises des Alpes

  13. You can see where the dogs got their genes from in those wolves when they are "friendly" with humans.

  18. Dearest Linda - just stopping by to say I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a beautiful New Year. Thank you so much for all the great videos, quotes and inspirational things you share all long. It is always a treat to visit your peaceful place. Thought that dollar bill was too cute - loved the fact that the one lady went to great lengths to make sure the man got the dollar. I always loved the Carpenters and this was beautiful. Take care friend and have a super day.

  22. Thank you, Linda, for the visit. I like what you are doing here. Growing up my parents always let the holiday continue until January 6 with specialness, so I try to do the same for my family. I also agree that some people need the support. I love to hear a voice that knows how to sing. xoox

  23. Hello Linda,
I got a new computer for Xmas - switching from PC to Mac - and it took me the whole day to get familiar with it, loading stuff and so on!
I couldn't watch your videos but finally with a little help from hubby, I got the right plugins! LOL!
I loved the gag, interesting to see one woman did the right thing but not the other!! Now I won't tell you what that "right thing" is supposed to be!!!!! ;-)
Enjoy the final 2014 days and I wish your projects will materialise as you'd like
    Keep well, hugs from France

  25. I have never heard that song An Old Fashioned Christmas. It is so beautiful! I'm surprised it never became a regular Christmas song we hear on the radio during the holidays. Those guys with the wolves are slightly crazy! They are amazing animals.
