Hello,
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for the blog award. Please check on my blog.
Dear Dumcho,
DeleteI thank you so much for nominating my blog for an award. I must graciously decline, as I don't accept awards, as for myself, having blog readers, followers and kind commenters like yourself is enough of a reward for me, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you. I hope you understand, and I thank you for your kindness.
Ha ha.. That's a beautiful misunderstanding!
ReplyDeleteLinda, very relaxing Lake in Autumn and full of life listening to the lively Irish jig. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBonitos vídeos, gag y musica.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Yes, don't miss the wood for the trees...
ReplyDeleteLiving in the present is the best thing to do... it is hard not to look forward to the future ... good quote about how we could miss out on what is here and now... Have a lovely weekend Linda xox
ReplyDeleteAnother great post Linda! Thank you.
ReplyDelete"the forecast" me plaît beaucoup Linda
ReplyDeletegreetings
the lake and music are very beautiful
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!!
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Linda! Congratulations on being nominated for a blog award. I appreciated the polite, respectful manner in which you declined. You selected some wonderful videos this day. A brief period of meditation every day is essential to mental and physical well being. The lake in autumn is perfectly serene and I enjoyed the evocative Irish fiddling. My favorite part of this post is the painting of the little girl with her puppy, kitten and doll, reminding us that the innocence of youth must be protected and preserved.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, dear friend Linda, and have a safe and happy weekend!
I feel like the puppy with the cookies and naps!
ReplyDeleteDeb

We have a warm up that's likely to tickle my desire for spring. Seeing nature with beautiful music is a treat!
ReplyDeleteI like the quote about showing negative thoughts the door. Definitely something to remember!
ReplyDeleteJammies, cookies, and naps sound like a good idea.
ReplyDeleteOh I love PSP! I'm still in my jammies! I love how the Quebec gags exploit uncomfortable social situations and work them! Too funny, Linda! Mindful Wishes was great. But I'm not so sure about the meditation one ~ I found myself tang notes and writing down "clear sky of our mind." LOL! Have a happy Friday, Linda, and thanks for making mine brighter!
ReplyDelete"Never be too busy watching what is ahead of you, for you may miss enjoying the moment of what is now" how very true that is.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a pleasure visiting you!
Have a beautiful blessed day.
Joy!
Debbie
That "lake in autumn" shot reminds me of the lakes in Minnesota that our family visited when I was a child. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe lake in autumn is very much home to me. Beautiful! I love that Irish jig music!

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post, the handshaking made me laugh because you know, that has happened to me but not for a very long time. It was embarrassing and then laughed about it. I went to YouTube and saved the meditation video so thank you so much for that. The gentleman has such a soothing voice. Loved the Irish Jig. And of course I love those pretty pictures with the inspirational quotes. Thank you so much Linda, always a pleasure to visit. Wishing you a wonderful weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThe gag..., all nice people, Linda !
ReplyDeleteLots of fun things!
ReplyDeleteHello sweet Linda, thank you for brightening my day with your lovely comment on today's new vintage recipe post. I couldn't agree more - vintage ads are the bee's knees and then some.

Dearest Linda; My husband heard the Irish music and told me the instrument would be violin and Banjo. We had fun to hear the music from a country♫♫♫
ReplyDeleteAnd insightful quotes you chose for us☆☆☆
Sincerely from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
show the door to negative thoughts ... i love that imagery! :D
ReplyDeleteYou do find the most beautiful quotations and videos with such lovely music. The first video was so funny – the faces of the people was too much.
ReplyDeleteGéniale la poignée de mains .... j'adore .
ReplyDeleteMerci Linda .
Bisous et bon WE ..
ps j'ai cliquer trop vite et le commentaire est parti sur mon autre blog qui est l'art-postal ...toutes mes excuses
You made me laugh today:)
ReplyDeleteI love the first and second one quotes:)
Enjoyed the Irish jig. Reminds me a little bit (probably just because of its origin) of the background music to the I Love Lucy episode "Lucy Goes to Scotland." Whenever I think about going back to Scotland or Ireland (where my ancestors are from), I think of poor Lucy McGillicuddy Ricardo. In her dream she finally made it, and the locals were so happy to see her because it was time to feed the dragon that ate a McGillicuddy every 100 years! I just hope there's not a similar one who eats Carsons ;).
