  2. Hello Linda, thank you for your comments on my blog. Your quotes are lovely. I especially like the Sketches in Stillness and Begin with love. We took a long time to find a home with peaceful surroundings and it's so delightful to relax on a stone bench by the pool and admire the butterflies sipping morning dew on the grass. Yes, all things come to those that pray, have faith and wait. Sending you good thoughts from Goa.

  3. Hi Linda
Great entry, at best, I like the pictures Negis nature and with the girl - nothing is as important as the laughter. One can really compare to the inner jogging - beautiful.
    a creative weekend for you.

  7. Funny gag - although it's weird people were so afraid of a skunk. We used to have them in our yard in Toronto and they don't bother you unless you bother them.
Love the ski piste with the moose too! Happy weekend!

  11. Enjoyed the beach prank (why didn't anyone try to catch the animal?) and the bovine music - interesting way to get dinner to come to you?! I like the idea that laughter is 'inner jogging'. Have a great weekend.

  19. Good morning, dear Linda! I love to see the contented behavior in cows that results when they are exposed to gentle, classical tunes. I can't help wondering how they would react to other styles of music. Would they dance to rock 'n' roll or merely turn and walk away in disgust? I agree that "people who love cats have some of the biggest hearts around." It is easy to love a dog because dogs love to lavish attention and affection on us. It takes a special person to unconditionally love an animal (or a human being) that is limited in its ability to reciprocate.

Thank you very much, Linda. Please remember that I am now breaking away from blogging for more than two weeks so that I can focus on moving to another city. I hope to be back with you the first week in April. Until then please take good care of yourself, my dear friend!

  41. Madeline Kahn! The world lost a great talent when she died. She has a special place in my heart (along with Glida Radner) because they both died of Ovarian cancer which also took my mom.
