St. Patrick's Day

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! Happy St. Patrick's Day!  :)

Thank you all so much for your kind responses to my yesterday's post, I really appreciate it.  I have been on meds to prevent gout for over a year now, as I was having too many episodes with it, but even though I am on meds to prevent the gout I have completely turned off beef.  Lamb, salmon and chicken are my favourites, and I can also eat pork without a problem.  I just try to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and this helps a lot.  :)

The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Cat Fights Dog to Protect her Kitten (and I think the dog got what he deserved, he was just being a bully) :)

Old Fashioned Chicken and Gravy

El Bimbo - Paul Mauriat

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  2. St Pat's Day, our son-in-laws birthday too. The kitten versus dog, very naughty owners who allowed that to happen, took a video, and it sounded like they were laughing in the background. They needed the kitten protection police to pay them a visit. Hope all is well at your place.

  4. My step son has a peacock on his ranch! I have only seen pictures this far but am hoping to get our camper repaired so we can take it back down there and enjoy the beauty of the scenery and the wildlife! He has horses, goats, ducks, chickens, a cow, a peacock, dogs, and other mangy critters! I LOVE it down there and can't wait to get back!!!

  10. Today's favorites: Practice what you post and passing on kindness!
I was turned off of beef when I had my abdominal surgery. I was also turned off of friend food. Too bad neither one stuck. I am turned off of milk since being lactose intolerant...just use it on my cereal. I have never have gout, so I hope you don't suffer too much with it.

  16. keep off the gravy and tomatoes, and basically anything acidic, as the acid will flare up your gout. You may also be producing too much Uric acid that also causes gout; it does with dh.
