  11. That beaver is too cute!!!
I also like companies that employ people of different abilities. There are lots of places like that here in Germany and I think it's very good. Everyone wants to be a part of society and contribute in some way (I think).

  17. Hi Linda, Got smiles from the "Waiting for Spring" ... Oh my, that does look like it might be a while. :-) On a more serious note ... "A tree that cannot bend, will crack in the wind" ... good thought for the day! Thanks, as always, for sharing your blog.

  43. Hi, dear Linda! Sorry I'm late. This was another travel day for me and I'm just now getting on the computer. I'm glad I didn't miss that cute little beaver. I wonder why he came out of the water to be near those people. They didn't seem to be offering food. As you might know, an adult beaver can be quite dangerous. I am reminded of the fisherman who was posing for a picture next to a beaver and it attacked and killed him.

What a wonderful story that was about the car wash here in Florida that employs people with autism! Everybody can learn a lesson from those autistic workers. Be thankful every day that you have a job (and that you are alive). Take an interest in your job and do it every day to the best of your ability. Take genuine pleasure in pleasing the customer. Good customer service seems to be getting more rare every passing year.

Thank you very much, dear Linda!

  45. The bees are busy around here!! We have been keeping our doors open lately and the bees have decided to try to build a nest INSIDE the house!!! NOT a good idea!

  46. I was looking at the picture of the bee on the dandelion. When we moved into our home we had thousands of dandelions in our front yard. We don't use chemicals in our home so we all took turns digging them out by hand. My daughter did some research that says we should not pull them out because the bees need them to survive! Bless her teenage heart. lol
